Stomp Out Crime 5K Run/2-Mile Walk
This event is a run/walk event that is held annually during August. The run/walk event is held just prior to the City of Glendale’s Root Beer Bash and begins on the Oak Leaf Trail and ends at the beautiful Richard E. Maslowski Community Park, 2200 W. Bender Road, Glendale.
In 2019, the event helped to benefit the Community Outreach programs in our city. We are extremely involved in our community and we provide programs and events such as: Shop with a Cop, Citizens Police Academy, Chili-Cook off, Community Bike Rodeo, D.A.R.E curriculum, and the Officer Friendly program at Parkway Elementary School. It is through events like our annual run/walk that we can fund these programs and continue to provide these services to the residents and children in our community.
Unfortunately, we were unable to host the 2020 run/walk event in-person, however, the event was moved to a virtual event that could be done anytime and at any location. Please stay tuned for information regarding the 2021 Stomp out Crime run/walk event!
